AHSCS Round 10

Pre Race: With 2 races left in the Arkansas series, the points race is getting really tight between me and Bryan Vaughan. I needed to win this race for sure, so I was very prepared. Unfortunately, it was going to be really dusty, which took some of the excitement out of me.

Race: I got a good start, and quickly took the lead when we entered the woods. My plan was to check out early, but that didn’t exactly happen. The first lap I was not that comfortable because my bars were rolled forward to far, and the new seat was really stiff. Throughout the rest of the race, I rode fast when I could see, which wasn’t very much, and finished the day with around 30 seconds over Bryan Vaughan to take the overall win. Everything went pretty good today, and I was happy to keep the championship very much alive. Only one race left, and I feel very confident in a win there seeing as it is my “home track”.

Results (Overall) 1. Zach Ingram (KTM)

                                  2. Bryan Vaughan (KTM)

                                  3. Parker Nolan (Yam)
