I headed out to the race Sunday morning and was pleased when I got there to what looked like perfect conditions. I got a good jump off the line and led the first lap and a half until workers stopped me saying they were having to restart the race because almost everyone missed a lot of the trail on lap 1. I went back and got a quick drink and switched front wheels because the mousse in mine was very soft. The second start wasn’t as good for
me and I followed Parker Nolen into the woods. I followed him for two laps
until I was able to make a safe pass. When I got the lead I charged hard to the
finish with a comfortable lead. I had a good time racing the 250F for the first
time, and that made my decision to ride it this weekend at Loretta’s. I’m
looking forward to the double header in Tennessee!
