Pre Race: We headed out Sunday morning for Kirby, Arkansas. When we got there the track looked really good and everyone was saying it was going to be a blast! I got to the line and was ready to roll.
Race: When the flag waved, my KTM fired right up and I was first into the woods. I was a little timid the first lap because it was my first time to see the trail. Spencer Cook stayed right with me. At the beginning of the second lap he got around me as we took different lines to pass some lapped riders. I followed him the next two laps, and I was content with the pace we were running. Going into the fourth lap we both pitted. My mom did an amazing job with my gas and I was out ahead of Spencer. At this point I was determined to check out. I rode as hard as I could to the finish, and ended with over a minute on Spencer. It was a great day for us, and I’m really looking forward to the National Enduro in Louisiana next weekend.
Results (Overall): 1. Zach Ingram (KTM)
