Pre-Race: Dad and I headed west Saturday afternoon. We arrived tovery dusty conditions, but luckily it poured for a few hours to make the dirt pretty wet. This race was a time keeper so I programed my computer and was ready to race.

 Race: The first loop was pretty slow paced. I rode smart and stayed on time and zeroed
the tiebreaker in that loop. After the main gas the race was basically a 50
mile harescramble. I screwed up pretty bad with my computer and the time
keeping in that section and lost four minutes to Dale Rector. I made it up in
the other test sections and ended up getting the win by just one minute. With
this win I have wrapped up the Black Jack Enduro Overall Championship! It was a
tough one to get, seeing as I didn’t get to attend all of the rounds. I’m very
happy with this year’s results in the National enduro’s and the Black Jack’s.
