Pre Race: We left early Saturday morning, and arrived in Lafayette, TN around 3 Saturday afternoon. The track looked really fast and pretty dusty. I got the bike prepped, and was ready for a good race.
Race: I got a pretty good jump, and rounded the first turn in about 5th. I made some quick passes, and entered the woods in 3rd. I moved into second pretty quick and was feeling good. Not to long after that, I crashed hard. It tweaked my bars pretty good, and I was shaken up. It took the rest of that lap for me to get back on pace. Throughout the rest of the 3 hour race, I rode pretty consistent. I really just didn’t care for the track at all and never felt like I was riding fast. I ended up 8th in 250A, and 47th overall. It obviously wasn’t the best day for me, but I was happy to finish strong without any mechanical problems. Next weekend I have plans of doing a local enduro.
Results (250A): 1. Chris Meadows (KTM)
2. Mark Heresco (Yam)
3. Zackery Smith (KTM)
4. Zachary Nash (KTM)
5. Dylan Cox (Kaw)
6. Justin Sode (KTM)
7. Damon Prince (Suz)
8. Zach Ingram (KTM)
9. Caleb Ramsey (KTM)
